Position: Contact Lens Specialist

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Contact Lens Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fitting, dispensing, and educating patients on contact lenses. Duties will include:

• Conducting contact lens fittings and assessments
• Educating patients on proper contact lens care and hygiene
• Assisting patients in selecting the right type of contact lenses for their needs
• Ordering and maintaining contact lens inventory
• Providing exceptional customer service and follow-up care

Requirements:

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Certification as a Contact Lens Technician or Specialist
• Experience in fitting a wide range of contact lenses, including specialty lenses
• Knowledge of contact lens materials, designs, and brands
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a full-time Optometrist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye exams, diagnosing and treating eye conditions, and prescribing corrective lenses. Duties will include:

• Conducting thorough eye exams and vision tests
• Diagnosing and treating eye diseases and conditions
• Prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses
• Co-managing pre and post-operative care for laser vision correction patients
• Providing patient education on eye health and wellness

Requirements:

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
• Licensed to practice optometry in the state of Texas
• Experience in primary care optometry and ocular disease management
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of the latest optometric technologies
• Excellent communication and bedside manner
