Are you passionate about creating mouth-watering pastries that leave customers coming back for more? Pena’s Donuts and Diner is currently seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for developing new pastry recipes, baking fresh goods daily, and ensuring our customers receive high-quality products.
– Develop new pastry recipes that align with our brand and customer preferences
– Bake a variety of pastries, including donuts, croissants, muffins, and more
– Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen to meet health and safety standards
– Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to coordinate baking schedules
– Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff
– Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker in a fast-paced environment
– Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredients
– Creative and innovative approach to pastry making
– Excellent time management and organizational skills
– Ability to work well in a team setting

As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, following recipes, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.
– Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and more
– Cook dishes according to recipes and quality standards
– Plate and garnish dishes to ensure visual appeal
– Ensure kitchen equipment is properly maintained and used
– Assist with kitchen inventory management and ordering supplies
– Proven experience as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in a restaurant or diner setting
– Strong understanding of various cooking techniques and methods
– Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
– Attention to detail and commitment to food quality
