Position: Oil & Gas Exploration Engineer

Location: Houston, TX

Job Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analysis to identify potential oil & gas exploration sites
• Collaborate with geologists and geophysicists to interpret data and recommend drilling locations
• Develop exploration plans and strategies to maximize success rates
• Monitor drilling operations and provide technical support as needed
• Analyze well performance and make recommendations for optimization
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in oil & gas exploration

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in oil & gas exploration
• Strong knowledge of reservoir engineering principles
• Proficiency in industry software such as Petra, Kingdom, and DecisionSpace
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
