Job Overview
We are currently seeking a talented Industrial Hygiene Consultant to join our team. As an Industrial Hygiene Consultant at Furmanite America, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to our clients on workplace health and safety issues.
Key Responsibilities
Conducting industrial hygiene assessments and surveys to identify potential hazards in the workplace.
Developing and implementing strategies to control and minimize exposure to hazardous substances.
Providing recommendations on proper engineering controls, personal protective equipment, and work practices.
Assisting in the development and implementation of safety programs and policies.
Conducting training sessions and workshops on industrial hygiene best practices.
Participating in incident investigations and root cause analysis.
Staying current on industry regulations and best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in industrial hygiene, environmental health, occupational safety, or related field.
3+ years of experience in industrial hygiene consulting.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial hygiene best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
