Position: Environmental & Ecological Consultant

Job Description:

  • Conduct environmental assessments, including soil and water sampling, to determine the impact of pollutants on ecosystems.
  • Develop environmental management plans and strategies to mitigate potential risks to the environment.
  • Assist clients in complying with environmental regulations and standards set by local and federal authorities.
  • Conduct ecological surveys to identify and assess the biodiversity of different habitats.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations based on findings from environmental assessments and ecological surveys.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, engineers, and policymakers to develop holistic solutions for clients.
  • Stay updated on current trends and developments in environmental science and policy to ensure the best practices are applied.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, ecology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in environmental consulting or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Certifications in environmental assessment and ecological surveys are a plus.
