Dr. Gerald J. Romano, OD, a leading optometry practice in the [Location] area, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Optometrist to join our team. Job Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess patients’ vision and eye health
Prescribe and fit eyeglasses and contact lenses based on patients’ needs
Detect and manage ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy
Provide vision therapy and visual training to patients with vision disorders
Counsel patients on proper eye care practices and recommend treatment options
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care
Qualifications:
Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
State licensure to practice optometry
Strong clinical skills and ability to provide excellent patient care
Experience in therapy and visual training is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
