Position: Optometrist

Job Description:

Visionworks is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Optometrist to join our team. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye exams to patients of all ages, diagnosing and treating various eye conditions, and prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses as needed. Additionally, you will work closely with our team of Opticians to ensure that our customers receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive eye exams using the latest diagnostic equipment
• Determine refractive errors and prescribe corrective lenses
• Diagnose and treat eye diseases and conditions
• Educate patients on proper eye care techniques
• Work closely with the Optician team to provide exceptional customer service
• Maintain accurate patient records

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
• State licensure to practice optometry
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
