We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Medical Assistant.
Position: Medical Assistant
Location: Houston, TX
Job Responsibilities:
Assist physicians with patient care and procedures
Prepare examination and treatment rooms with necessary supplies
Take patient vitals and record medical history
Perform urine analysis and other diagnostic tests as required
Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician
Assist in scheduling appointments and coordinating patient care
Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of patient information
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a certified Medical Assistant program
Previous experience in a medical clinic or hospital setting preferred
Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
Proficiency in computer skills and electronic medical record systems
