Job Description
As a Home Builder at Richfield Homes, you will be responsible for constructing high-quality homes from start to finish. Your role will involve working closely with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure that each home is built to the highest standards. You will have the opportunity to showcase your skills in carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical work, and more, as you turn blueprints into beautifully crafted homes that families will cherish for years to come.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
Coordinate with project managers to plan construction timelines and schedules
Perform skilled labor in various trades such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and electrical work
Ensure that all construction work meets building codes and safety regulations
Inspect and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the construction process
Collaborate with subcontractors to complete specialized tasks within specified deadlines
Maintain a clean and organized work site to ensure a safe and efficient build process
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to provide updates on project progress
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential construction
Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints
Strong knowledge of construction practices, techniques, and materials
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
High school diploma or equivalent; trade certification in carpentry or related field is a plus
